The aromas and tastes in wine can be rather subtle because there are so many compounds involved. These compounds can be unique to where they were produced as well as the bottling process they’ve undergone. It’s sort of a wine DNA. This essence can best be released once the wine’s been aerated.

The aromas and tastes can be very subtle or they can be overwhelmingly strong. Tastes and aromas mixed together can be identified by the trained palette. This is what tells them about the history of the wine. You can almost compare aerating wine with the action of a Wispr Vaporizer when it pulls only the best from smoking herbs. Aerating wine will give you the very best you can get from a bottle of wine in much the same way.

There are some wine connoisseurs that can sample a wine’s bouquet and tell you the country or region of origin, as well as the vineyard that produced it. The reason this is usually successful is due to the wine in question being completely aerated beforehand, thus giving the right clues needed to pinpoint its origin. A connoisseur will know this information instantly from the aroma and the bouquet of the aerated wine.

The process of aerating wine isn’t very complicated. There are various styles and processes but it’s still basically similar in nature. A bottle of wine is opened and put into the aerator, which it then passes through. A wine glass is placed directly under the aerator as a receptacle for the aerated wine. This is definitely much faster than just opening the bottle and letting it breathe on its own for hours. Some aerators are put inside the bottle. While this is also basically the same process, it still works.

You should consider that wine aerators aren’t exactly expensive so it doesn’t matter if you’re a wine connoisseur or not. You can still drink wine like you are one when you indulge in aerating your wine before you drink it. Doing things this way can certainly change your way of appreciating the wine you choose to drink. In fact, if you decide to start aerating your wine before drinking it, you may find that you’ll become a wine connoisseur after all.
